Hi, I’m Philip

After watching Marty Mcfly play Johnny B. Goode on electric guitar in the film Back To The Future, I had to start learning guitar as it was the coolest thing I'd ever seen! I was 12 years old and never looked back.

As the years went by I became a pretty good player, getting into more advanced styles of music and bands. I then moved to Scotland in 2002 where I studied my 4 year music music degree at Napier University in Edinburgh.

I now compose music for screen, most notably for kid's series on CBeebies and CBBC. You can view my credits on www.philipcurran.com.
